TheCommonCore.com is presented by the Higher State Standards Partnership (HSSP) and supported by the Business Roundtable, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the hundreds of individual businesses and local chambers that comprise their memberships and strongly support the Common Core State Standards.
A bipartisan group of governors led the drive to adopt the Standards in 45 states and the District of Columbia, and many states are now implementing the Standards. Unfortunately, these rigorous, college and career-ready standards to improve education for all students have come under attack. Our future – and the future of our children – is on the line. Everyone who has a stake must commit to working cooperatively toward our shared goal of strengthening U.S. education.
